Reshaped Landscape

The river is overflowing its banks
Everything still moves in the same direction
But it rushes with such great force
Life goes everywhere and nowhere
All at the same time
Words pile up in my head
Like debris caught in the fences
These once useful objects are now a mess
Jumbled up and hard to untangle
But the storm is slowly passing
Reshaping the landscape as it goes
What will be may bit different than what was
But the words will be sorted out
New waterways will be formed
And life will flow gently again
